Black Girl Sunscreen was started in 2016 to solve the #1 problem that women of color were having with sunscreen — products that left a white cast on darker skin tones — and no product existed to address their needs.
The company was founded in the spirit of celebrating and protecting melanated skin with education and the highest quality ingredients at its foundation.
