ABOUT THE SMALL BUSINESS
NUDE FOOTWEAR FOR ALL SKIN TONES
Kahmune is a brand of luxury footwear and fashion that's designed to provide all women with a true nude option — not just tan and beige. Founder Jamela Acheampong started the brand in 2017 after growing frustrated with the lack of "nude" options that matched her own complexion. The result is a range of premium leather shoes made in Italy with shades to match every skin tone.

DP started with creating a moodboard, finding visuals for inspiration. One takeaway from the project: trusting the knowledge you've absorbed over the years.
This project pushed DP's production to the next level. A self-described 'run-and-gun' photographer most of the time, shooting for Kahmune required him to ideate, execute, and the brand's powerful mission in every shot.
