ABOUT THE SMALL BUSINESS

A BOOKSTORE
WITH A
FOCUS ON REPRESENTATION

Pamela & Jeffrey Blair opened Eyeseeme after their own difficulty in finding books that celebrated their children's identity. Today, parents, teachers, and schools look to Eyeseeme for children's books that promote positive images and stories about African American culture and history.

BEHIND THE CREATIVE

JADE BROOMFIELD

Growing up an avid reader herself, Jade remembers that authors of color and characters of color were not common in her book collection growing up. Naturally, she recognized the importance of her client's mission to promote more diverse stories for children everywhere.
