Instagram Ad Tech Specialty Requirements

The goal of the Ad Tech Specialty is to highlight Partners who are driving performance and innovation via our Marketing API.

Our commitment to excellence means that our Partners are vetted and geared with best practice knowledge in creating ads for all of our ad formats, making our program a place where marketers can find the quality and performance they need.

To help you determine your eligibility for this program, we established the following checklist to better define the capabilities and requirements we are looking for in Ad Technology Partners:

To demonstrate that you have a track record of enabling technology solutions that help marketers scale campaigns and drive significantly improved performance

Applicants must be able to meet the following minimum required ad spend within 60 days from application submission:

100,000 USD spend (or equivalent in local currency)

We review the App ID you provide in your application

Quality

To ensure your company and teams meet our quality-related standards

Applicants must exhibit at least 50% of spend not directly associated with Link clicks. Additionally, 50% of spend should be opted in to a minimum of 2 placements

Our compliance team will review company information

Number of Clients

To demonstrate that you have a diverse stable client-base, which removes a dependency on any one client

Applicants must have 5+ active clients each exhibiting >1,000 USD in the last 60 days from application submission

We review the App ID you provide in your application

Compliance

To ensure your company and teams meet compliance related standards

Applicants must successfully complete App Review Process

Technology Requirement

Must have Ads Management Standard Access to meet all of the Product Requirements

Training

To ensure your company and team complies with our Ad Policy

Ad Policy blueprint course must be completed by a minimum of 2 employees within 30 days from official badging date
