Create a memorable username and photo

Having a username that stands out will make it easier for your followers to remember your business! Similarly, choose a profile photo that reflects your business, like your logo or headshot, since your photo will show up on every post you share.

Tip: If your username is already taken, get creative! You can try adding words like ‘app,’ ‘dotcom,’ or abbreviating your business to find your perfect username. For example, @tastycreamerysf is an easy way to create a new username and let people know where you're located!

Complete your bio

Describe your business in a few words to help people quickly understand who you are and what you do. Think of your Business Account like your online storefront, show your personality and have fun with it!

Tip: Including emojis in your bio is a fun way to describe your business, storefront or location. Include a link to your website, online shop or shoppable blog in your bio so followers can purchase your products directly through Instagram.

Add your contact information

We've made it easy for customers to get in touch with you through a contact button. Include your phone number, email and address to invite customers to learn more about your products and services on your website, or visit you in person.

Tip: Keep your website or blog link in your bio and use your contact buttons for your email, phone number and address, or additional action buttons from select partners.
