The beauty company wanted a way to drive existing M1 Med Beauty clients to its new online shop and increase awareness and demand for its M1 Select product line specifically.
Wanting to reach existing customers with its new product, M1 Med Beauty decided to run its first-ever ads in Instagram Stories. The beauty brand created 15-second vertical videos, which began with strong messaging at the start and placed the product front and center throughout the video.
To reach the right audience, M1 Med Beauty used Custom Audiences based on its existing beauty treatment customers, as well as Lookalike Audiences to find new potential customers. The company narrowed its targeting even further, reaching women in Germany, ages 18–25, who had a strong interest in beauty and skincare.
At the end of the six-week campaign, M1 Med Beauty reached over 500,000 women within its target audience. With ads in Instagram Stories, the beauty company lowered its cost per impression by 50% compared to campaigns with other placements during same time. Its cost per acquisition also decreased by 25% compared to previous campaigns with other placements.
