Bringing images to life

Hello bank! knew from its research that Instagram was the ideal platform to reach millennials. Using its existing still photo assets, and working with motion designers, the brand created new 10-second videos for mobile.

The videos communicated the message that Hello bank! was an excellent choice for busy millennials looking for a flexible banking solution with a seamless app experience. The ads ran in both Instagram feed and Stories and used demographic and interest targeting to reach a broad audience.

Hello bank!’s bold and creative campaign successfully increased brand awareness and favorability. From November 20–December 23, 2018, the campaign achieved:

  • 37% lift in ad recall

  • 21% lift in account opening intent

  • 18% lift in favorability
