We launched ads in Instagram Stories on a trial basis and we’re thrilled with the results, specifically around high video view rates and conversions. THE SOLUTION
Driving stylish deals with immersive video

Having participated in an initial test of ads in Instagram Stories, Beanpole Outdoor knew the format’s potential and was keen to take greater advantage of it.

The brand designed the video to look like an Instagram Story created by a celebrity. The 5-second video used the new full-screen vertical video format, which is an engaging way to appeal to audiences. To encourage conversions and website visits, the campaign linked to Beanpole’s ecommerce site via a “Learn More” call-to-action button.

The apparel company has been thrilled with the results so far. There were increases in both key campaign metrics: the video view rate was 2X higher, and conversions increased 1.4X compared to past campaigns. Encouraged by these results, Beanpole not only plans to continue using ads in Instagram Stories, but will also be retargeting ads to people who see the stories to generate maximum impact.
