Make every shopping season seamless for your customers by helping them discover and purchase your brand’s products with ease. Did you know your shop isn’t the only place you can sell products on Instagram? If you have a business or creator account, have uploaded products to your catalog and enabled Instagram Shopping, you can tag the products that are featured in your content so customers can shop in the moment of discovery.
Here’s a handy step-by-step guide to adding shoppable tags in your feed, stories, reels, Instagram Video and live shopping. Heads up: You can also tag products by adding product mentions in your profile bio or feed captions, so there’s no shortage of ways to show off your shoppable products!
According to a 2020 Instagram Trends Research Study, 44% of people surveyed use Instagram to shop weekly1, using features like product tags and the Shop tab, and 28% of their shopping activities that happen on Instagram are planned2. About 1 in 2 people surveyed have used Instagram to discover new brands, products or services3.
